Castle Rock Burgers LLC. was founded in 2014 by Chef Rick Saint John and his wife, Food Technologist Mar
y Jane Saint John while living in Pasig City, Ortigas Center, Manila Philippines.
Chef Rick Saint John has over 20 years of culinary experience, working for some of the most prestigious hotel restaurants in the country. Rick started out working at the Holiday Inn Central in Omaha Nebraska, then moved on to the Marriott Hotel where he became the specialty chef for Scotch Bonet Restaurant. After moving to Raleigh North Carolina Rick went to work for the Radisson Hotel and then the Capital City Club, before taking over the Seaside Restaurant as the executive chef. Rick is skilled in all aspects of the culinary field, from line cook, banquets, garde-manager, ice sculptures to executive duties.
Mary Jane Saint John the wife of Rick also comes from a culinary background, as a food technologist Jane has used scientific principles to help develop our seasonings, sauces. Jane is also holds a Nebraska certificate in food safety.
Although I have owned and founded other businesses, the love of cooking great tasting food, stayed near to my heart.
Castle Rock Burgers Our Love!
From our founding in 2014 it was the goal of Jane and myself to create great tasting burgers using the freshest USDA hamburger made from the best beef, with superior marbling that would provide that rich beefy flavor and juiciness. We achieve this by personally hand selecting our beef from local Nebraska markets, never freezing our beef and creating our 6 ounce burger patties by hand, daily.
Our signature Castle Rock Burgers are grilled at 450 degrees creating the perfect Maillard reaction, creating that complex brown color while providing that delicious savory, caramelized crust. With 25 plus different burger flavors, each uniquely topped and sauced, we are sure you will find a burger that will become your favorite. Every Castle Rock Burger comes served on a toasted Rotella bun, topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickle, to help complete this flavor packed power house of a burger, that we believe is, “The Best Burger In Town”.
